Each takes a few minutes, once. Jump to Fire TV or Google TV and Android TV.
Fire TV
- Search for Downloader on the home screen and install it.
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About and select your device name seven times, until a message says you are a developer.
- Open Downloader, type zirotv.com/apk in the address box and select Go.
- The first time, the Fire TV says it may not install apps from this source. Select Settings in the message, switch Downloader on and press Back. No message, or no switch? Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > Install unknown apps and switch Downloader on there.
- Select Install, then Open. When Downloader offers to delete the file, say yes to save space.
Not on the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K or the 2026 Fire TV Stick HD. They run Vega OS, which only installs apps from the Amazon Appstore. Amazon says all future Fire TV Sticks will run Vega OS.

- Install Downloader from Google Play on your TV.
- Go to Settings > System > About and select Android TV OS build seven times. On an older Android TV, select Build under Settings > Device Preferences > About.
- Go to Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources and switch Downloader on. On an older Android TV, it is under Settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions.
- Open Downloader, type zirotv.com/apk in the address box and select Go.
- Select Install, then Open.
No Downloader? Send the file from your phone with the Send files to TV app, or copy it to a USB drive and open it with a file manager.

Which Mac do I have? In the Apple menu, choose About This Mac: a line called Chip means Apple silicon, a line called Processor means Intel.

To check yours, look under Settings > About, or on a Fire TV under Settings > My Fire TV > About. There, a software version that starts with Fire OS is fine, and one that says just OS, such as OS 1.1 or OS 2.0, is Vega OS.

The phone edition is on Google Play for Android phones and coming to the App Store for iPhone and iPad, on the same account.
Samsung or LG TV? Plug in a Google TV device or the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and you are set.
Then add your playlist.
Open ZiroTV and choose Use my phone. Scan the code, enter your Xtream Codes login or M3U link on your phone, and save. Your TV picks it up straight away.
Prefer the remote? Choose Xtream Codes login or M3U link instead and type it on the TV. Already have an account? Choose I have a ZiroTV account, and everything you saved comes back.
Updates arrive in the app.
On Fire TV, Google TV and Android TV, ZiroTV offers each new version as you open it. Choose Update now, and it downloads the file from zirotv.com and hands it to your device’s installer. Your playlists and settings stay. To look for one yourself, go to Settings > Check for updates.
New features come the same way, watch together among them. Watch together is in the latest ZiroTV app. Update and start a room.
On a computer, or if your TV ever refuses an update, install the latest file from this page over the old one.
Is this download safe?
The Android app is signed by us and served only from zirotv.com, over HTTPS. It contains no channels, links or add-ons: you bring your own playlist. To check the APK, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one linked above. The Mac app is signed by us but not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS asks once in Privacy & Security. The Windows installer is not code-signed yet. Each has its own checksum beside its download.
Install questions.
Play Protect says it does not recognise the app. What do I do?
Tap More details, then Install anyway. Play Protect warns about every app that does not come from Google Play, and the file on this site does not. To skip the warning, install ZiroTV from Google Play on your TV instead, where plans are paid through Google Play. To check that your file is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one on this page.
It says “App not installed”. What now?
The device is probably older than Android 7.0 or Fire OS 6, or short on space. Check the version under Settings > About (on a Fire TV, Settings > My Fire TV > About), free up some space and try again. “There was a problem parsing the package” means the same, or that the download was cut short, so download the file again first.
Do I need to uninstall before updating?
No. Install the new version over the old one, and everything stays: playlists, favourites, profiles and settings. If you uninstall first, sign in to your ZiroTV account afterwards, and your playlists, favourites, profiles, settings and progress come back. Not signed in? Make a backup file first under Settings > Backup & restore, save it outside the app, and restore it after you reinstall.
Can I install it without the Downloader app?
Yes. On a Google TV or Android TV, send the file from your phone with the Send files to TV app, or copy it to a USB drive and open it with a file manager. If your TV has a browser that downloads files, open zirotv.com/apk in it.
How much space does it need?
The download is 82 MB. The installed app and its guide data take more, so keep a few hundred MB free. On a Fire TV, let Downloader delete the file once ZiroTV is installed.

When the trial ends.
The trial needs no card and no account, so nothing is charged when it ends. Each device gets its own, with every feature.
When it runs out, your TV shows a code. Scan it with your phone, choose a plan at app.zirotv.com and pay, and the TV unlocks as soon as the payment goes through. Before you pay, read the refund policy.
