Fire TV
- Search for Downloader on the home screen and install it.
- Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About and select your device name seven times, until a message says you are a developer.
- Go back to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > Install unknown apps and switch Downloader on.
- Open Downloader, type zirotv.com/apk in the address box and select Go.
- Select Install, then Open. When Downloader offers to delete the file, say yes to save space.
Not on the Fire TV Stick 4K Select or the 2026 Fire TV Stick HD. They run Vega OS, which only installs apps from the Amazon Appstore.

- Install Downloader from Google Play on your TV.
- Go to Settings > System > About and select Android TV OS build seven times. On an older Android TV, select Build under Settings > Device Preferences > About.
- Go to Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources and switch Downloader on. On an older Android TV, it is under Settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions.
- Open Downloader, type zirotv.com/apk in the address box and select Go.
- Select Install, then Open.
No Downloader? Send the file from your phone with the Send files to TV app, or copy it to a USB drive and open it with a file manager.

- Open zirotv.com/apk in your phone’s browser. The file downloads on its own.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
- Tap Install. If Play Protect warns that it does not recognise the app, tap More details, then Install anyway.
- Open ZiroTV.
Android asks because ZiroTV is not on Google Play yet. The warning is about where the app comes from, not about the app.

To check yours, look under Settings > About, or on a Fire TV under Settings > My Fire TV > About. There, a software version that starts with Fire OS is fine, and one that says OS 1 is Vega OS.
Samsung or LG TV? Plug in a Fire TV or Google TV stick and you are set.
Then add your playlist.
Open ZiroTV and choose Add your first playlist, then Add from your phone. Scan the code, enter your Xtream Codes login or M3U link on your phone, and save. Your TV picks it up straight away.
Prefer the remote? Choose Xtream Codes or M3U Playlist instead and type it on the TV. Already have an account? Use your account brings in the playlists you saved.
Updates arrive in the app.
When there is a new version, ZiroTV offers it as you open the app. Choose Update now, and it downloads the file from zirotv.com and hands it to your device’s installer. Your playlists and settings stay. To look for one yourself, go to Settings > Check for updates.
If your device ever refuses an update, install the latest file from this page over the old one.
Is this download safe?
ZiroTV is signed by us and served only from zirotv.com, over HTTPS. It contains no channels, links or add-ons: you bring your own playlist. To check your file, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one linked above.
Install questions.
Play Protect says it does not recognise the app. What do I do?
Tap More details, then Install anyway. Play Protect warns about every app that does not come from Google Play, and ZiroTV is not listed there yet. To check that your file is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one on this page.
It says “App not installed”. What now?
The device is probably older than Android 7.0 or Fire OS 6, or short on space. Check the version under Settings > About (on a Fire TV, Settings > My Fire TV > About), free up some space and try again. “There was a problem parsing the package” means the same, or that the download was cut short, so download the file again first.
Do I need to uninstall before updating?
No. Install the new version over the old one, and everything stays: playlists, favourites, profiles and settings. Uninstalling first deletes all of it from the device. Signing in to your account brings back your playlists only. To get the rest back, make a backup file first under Settings > Backup & restore, save it outside the app, and restore it after you reinstall.
Can I install it without the Downloader app?
Yes. On a Google TV or Android TV, send the file from your phone with the Send files to TV app, or copy it to a USB drive and open it with a file manager. If your TV has a browser that downloads files, open zirotv.com/apk in it.
How much space does it need?
The download is 118 MB. The installed app and its guide data take more, so keep a few hundred MB free. On a Fire TV, let Downloader delete the file once ZiroTV is installed.
