Terms of service
Updated
The agreement between you and BITVIRE when you use ZiroTV or buy a plan.
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and BITVIRE, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 97211699, VAT ID NL005257300B03, trading as ZiroTV (“we”, “us”).
You can reach us at support@zirotv.com for help and at info@bitvire.com for legal notices.
These terms apply to the ZiroTV app, to the account portal at app.zirotv.com and to every plan you buy from us. By creating an account or using ZiroTV, you accept them.
2. What ZiroTV is
ZiroTV is a media player. It plays the playlists you add: an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link from a provider of your choice.
- ZiroTV includes no channels, films, series, playlists or links, and we do not sell, host or supply any.
- We have no connection with any content provider, and we do not recommend one.
- The app connects to your provider directly for your playlist, guide and streams, and we do not check, monitor or store the streams you play. Only channel logos and posters load through our image server.
What you need: a Fire TV with Fire OS 6 or later, or an Android TV or Google TV device with Android 7.0 or later, or a computer with Windows 10 or later; a playlist as an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link, and for the TV guide your provider’s XMLTV guide; and an internet connection at least once every 72 hours for the plan check (section 7).
ZIROTV IS ONLY A PLAYER AND SUPPLIES NO CONTENT. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLAYLISTS, LOGINS AND LINKS YOU ADD AND FOR MAKING SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO WATCH WHAT THEY CONTAIN. BITVIRE ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR THAT CONTENT, SUBJECT TO SECTION 15.
What you pay us for is the software and your account, nothing else.
3. Your account and devices
You must be 18 or older to use ZiroTV and to have an account.
You can use the free trial without an account. To buy a plan, you create an account on app.zirotv.com with your email address and a password.
- A plan covers two devices linked to your account at the same time, TVs, phones or computers.
- You add a TV by signing in on it, or by entering the code and pairing key it shows in your account on app.zirotv.com. You add a phone or a computer by signing in on it.
- Signing out on a device, or removing it from your account on app.zirotv.com, frees its place for another one. A removed device goes back to its own free trial if it has days left, and you can link it again later with the code and pairing key it shows then.
- You can add an extra device in your account on app.zirotv.com for the one-time price shown there. It works only while your account has a plan. It has the same right of withdrawal (section 9) and the same rights when it does not work as promised (section 15) as a plan; it is not refunded just because your plan ends.
Your account is for you and the people you live with. You may not sell, rent or share it outside your household. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it happens because we failed to protect it.
4. Free trial
Each device gets a free trial of 7 days, starting the first time ZiroTV opens on it. The trial includes every feature and needs no account and no payment details.
When the trial ends, the app asks you to sign in with an account that has a plan. Nothing is charged automatically. There is one trial per device, and we may refuse or end trials that are used to get around that.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Every plan includes every feature and covers two devices linked to your account. The plans differ only in how you pay:
- Monthly: €3.99 a month excluding VAT (€4.83 incl. VAT in the EU), renewed every month until you cancel
- Yearly: €19.99 a year excluding VAT (€24.19 incl. VAT in the EU), for a fixed year, after which you choose another year or it continues as the monthly plan
- Lifetime: €39.99 once excluding VAT (€48.39 incl. VAT in the EU), never renewed (see section 10)
Until 31 December 2026 the plans sell at introductory prices instead, and the prices above apply to orders from 1 January 2027:
- Monthly: €1.99 a month excluding VAT (€2.41 incl. VAT in the EU)
- Yearly: €9.99 a year excluding VAT (€12.09 incl. VAT in the EU)
- Lifetime: €19.99 once excluding VAT (€24.19 incl. VAT in the EU)
A monthly or yearly plan bought at an introductory price renews at that price for as long as it is not cancelled.
Prices are in euros. The prices above exclude VAT. Buyers in the EU pay 21% Dutch VAT on top of them; outside the EU no VAT is charged. At checkout you confirm the country you buy from, which decides the VAT, and you pay the price shown when you order. You pay on app.zirotv.com through our payment provider, Mollie B.V., whose checkout shows which payment methods you can use. Mollie handles your card or bank details, and we never see them.
A monthly plan renews automatically at the end of each month, and Mollie charges the same payment method each time, until you cancel.
A yearly plan runs for a fixed year, paid up front. Before that year ends, you can choose another year in your account on app.zirotv.com. That year is again a fixed year, and the same applies at its end. If you do not choose one, your plan continues as the monthly plan, at the monthly price in force at that time, charged to the same payment method. You can cancel it at any time, and it stops at the end of the month you have already paid for. There is no other notice period. At least 30 days before a fixed year ends, we email you the date it ends, the monthly price that follows, and how to choose another year or cancel.
If a renewal payment fails, the devices your plan covers keep working for 3 days while Mollie retries. A payment in those days continues your plan without a gap. If none goes through, ZiroTV stops working on those devices until a payment does, and that payment starts a new period on the day it is paid, so you never pay for days those devices were locked.
We may change our prices for new orders. A running plan keeps renewing at the price you signed up for, except that a yearly plan that continues as the monthly plan pays the monthly price in force at that time. If we ever need to change the price of a running plan, we email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
Your payments are listed in your account on app.zirotv.com. If you need an invoice that shows the VAT, email support@zirotv.com.
6. Purchases in the phone app
A plan bought in the ZiroTV app for iPhone, iPad or Android phones, through the App Store or Google Play, is governed by the terms of use for the ZiroTV app, not by these terms.
7. Access after payment
ZiroTV is delivered digitally. Your plan starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. If you buy a new plan, including a lifetime plan, while a paid period on your account is still running, the new plan is due to start when that period ends, and buying it cancels the renewal of the running subscription. If the new plan can no longer start on that day, we cancel it and refund everything you paid for it automatically. The devices a plan covers unlock as soon as it starts, or the next time they connect.
The app checks your plan with our server. Without a connection, it keeps working for up to 72 hours; after that, it needs to connect again.
8. Cancelling
You can cancel a monthly or yearly plan at any time in your account on app.zirotv.com. You do not need to give a reason.
- Your plan does not renew after that, and we do not charge you again.
- You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- A monthly plan, including a yearly plan that continued as one, stops at the end of the month you have paid for. There is no other notice period.
- Cancelling during a fixed year stops your plan at the end of that year. The rest of the year is not refunded, except under section 9.
- A lifetime plan has nothing to cancel: it is paid once and never renews.
- A subscription bought in the phone app is cancelled with Apple or Google (section 6).
Cancelling does not delete your account. You can delete it yourself in your account on app.zirotv.com, or ask us to; what that removes is in our privacy policy.
9. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase, a lifetime plan included. If you asked for your plan to start as soon as it can (straight away, or when your current plan ends) and then withdraw within those 14 days, we refund what you paid minus the part for the days it ran before your withdrawal. For a lifetime plan, that part is counted against 5 years: the price you paid, times the days it ran, divided by 1825. That is why the 7-day trial exists: try everything first, pay after.
The right is the law’s, for consumers, and needs no reason.
Before you can pay on app.zirotv.com, you agree to these terms and you ask for your plan to start as soon as it can: straight away, or when your current plan ends (section 7). If you withdraw within your 14 days, you withdraw from the whole contract, and we refund what you paid minus the proportion for the days it ran before your withdrawal (article 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code).
A lifetime plan is a digital service paid once, and you can withdraw from it like any other plan. The days it ran are counted against 5 years, as above; we confirm this in your purchase email.
If you buy a plan while a paid period on your account is still running, the new plan is due to start when that period ends, and checkout shows you that date. If you withdraw before it starts, we refund everything you paid for it. Withdrawing from a plan that has not started does not undo the cancellation of your previous plan’s renewal: it still ends at the end of its paid period, and you can buy a new plan after that.
You can withdraw with the “Withdraw from contract here” button in your account on app.zirotv.com. It works during the whole 14 days, asks you to confirm, and straight away emails you a receipt with the content, date and time of your withdrawal. You can also withdraw by email to support@zirotv.com, or with the model withdrawal form. We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the payment method you used.
The details, and the model form, are in our refund and cancellation policy.
10. Lifetime plans
Lifetime means for as long as ZiroTV is offered, and in any case for at least 5 years from the day you buy it. There is no recurring payment. If we stop offering ZiroTV by our own choice within those 5 years, we refund the unused part of the 5 years: the price you paid, times the days left of the 5 years, divided by 1825. If a law, a court ruling or an order from an authority makes us stop, we owe no further compensation, but we still refund the unused part of the 5 years in the same way. After the 5 years, we email you at least 3 months before ZiroTV stops, and no refund is due. Should that day come, we also publish one last build with everything unlocked, free, for everyone. Your playlists are your own, so the app you paid for keeps playing them.
A lifetime plan covers the same number of devices and the same features as the other plans, including new versions of the app. It belongs to the account that bought it and cannot be moved to another account.
11. Acceptable use
These are not allowed:
- Using ZiroTV to watch or share streams you have no right to
- Copying, changing, decompiling or reverse engineering the app, except where the law allows it. This does not limit anything the licences of the open-source components listed at zirotv.com/open-source allow
- Selling, renting or redistributing ZiroTV, or access to an account
- Bundling ZiroTV with content, playlists or links, or selling devices with ZiroTV and sources already set up on them
- Using the ZiroTV name or logo to sell or promote IPTV services or any other content
- Getting around the trial, the device limit or the plan check, or interfering with our servers
What happens when these rules are broken is in section 16.
12. Display names, friends and sharing
With an account, you can set a display name, add friends, watch together in rooms and share a playlist with other accounts. When you do:
- Your display name must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, and must not pretend to be another person, a company or ZiroTV.
- Share a playlist only if you have the right to share it. Many providers allow a login to be used only by you or your household.
- Do not use friend requests, invitations or rooms to harass, threaten or spam anyone.
You can block another account at any time. A block ends any friendship, shared playlist and invitation between the two of you, and keeps you out of each other’s rooms. To report abuse, email support@zirotv.com with the other account’s name and what happened.
If these rules are broken, we may remove the display name, end the sharing, or suspend or close the account (section 16).
13. Your playlists and data
The playlists you add stay yours, and you must have the right to use every one of them. When you are signed in with cloud sync on, we store your playlists so they reach your other devices, with their logins and links encrypted.
How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.
14. Updates and availability
We provide the updates, including security updates, needed to keep ZiroTV working as described for as long as your plan runs (Title 7.1AA of the Dutch Civil Code). We tell you what an update changes and what happens if you do not install it. If you installed the app file from our website, the app updates itself. If you installed it from an app store, the store updates it.
- Whether your provider’s streams work depends on your provider, and we cannot promise that a particular provider, playlist, channel or stream works or keeps working. ZiroTV itself must play standard Xtream Codes and M3U playlists; if it does not, see section 15.
- We aim to keep our servers available at all times, but we may need short breaks for maintenance, and faults can happen. The app keeps working offline for a while (section 7).
We change ZiroTV only for a valid reason: security, the law, keeping it working with providers and platforms, or improving it. A change costs you nothing. If a change has more than a minor negative effect on your access to or use of ZiroTV, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it happens what will change and when. You can then end your plan free of charge within 30 days after that email or the change, whichever is later, and we refund the unused part of what you paid within 14 days. For a lifetime plan, we refund the unused part of the 5 years as described in section 10.
15. Liability
ZiroTV must conform to these terms. If it does not, you can ask us to put it right free of charge, within a reasonable time and without serious inconvenience to you. If that is impossible, does not happen in time, the problem returns or is serious, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or end the contract. You keep every other right the law gives you when a product does not conform.
- We are not liable for the content, availability or quality of your provider’s streams, or for outages at your provider or your internet connection.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, or for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If you buy as a business, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break the rules in section 11 or section 12, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to stop.
If we close your account because you broke these terms, we refund the unused part of your plan minus the loss your breach caused us.
You can stop using ZiroTV at any time, and delete your account yourself on app.zirotv.com or by emailing support@zirotv.com. Deleting it ends your plan straight away, including paid time that is left, and nothing more is charged. A plan you bought that has not started yet is refunded in full. A subscription bought in the phone app keeps renewing until you cancel it with Apple or Google (section 6).
17. Complaints
Not happy with something? Email support@zirotv.com with your account email address and a description of the problem.
We confirm that we received your complaint and send a full answer within 14 days. If we need longer, we tell you within those 14 days when you can expect it.
If we cannot solve it together, section 18 says which courts can decide the dispute.
18. Governing law and courts
These terms and every purchase are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection that the mandatory law of the country of your habitual residence gives you. As EU law guarantees, you can take a dispute to the courts of the Netherlands or of the country where you live, and we can take a dispute against you only to the courts of the country where you live. If you buy as a business, disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. A change applies from its date to new purchases and renewals. If a change affects you, we email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel your plan before then if you do not agree. A change to your disadvantage never reduces what a plan you already paid for includes; if one would, you may end the plan and get the unused part of what you paid refunded. For a lifetime plan, that is the unused part of the 5 years, counted as in section 10.
20. Contact
Questions about these terms go to info@bitvire.com. For help with the app, your account or a payment, email support@zirotv.com. Our full company details are on the contact page.
